Every 18 months or so the Consortium has arranged for training courses available at subsidised rates for our members. These cover the whole gamut of issues that management committee members might want to learn more about. If you, or your colleagues, have any particular needs or think that other member halls could also benefit from a specific course, please let us know. See Contacts page for email addresses.
Elements is a dedicated e-learning space committed to providing good value for money when it comes to basic training in the voluntary/charitable sector. It’s run by three support organisations based in the North East. Members with incomes of less than £10,000/year could well pay nothing. Basic training is currently offered in three main areas. But please note all the courses are online and they are all generic courses designed for the whole of the voluntary & community sector rather than specifically for community buildings.
- Good Governance
- Charity Finance
- General Fund Raising
- Safeguarding fro Adults
Please let us know of your experience – good or bad.
