Training

Bolton

Every 18 months or so the Consortium has arranged for training courses available at subsidised rates for our members.  These cover the whole gamut of issues that management committee members might want to learn more about: better governance, fundraising,  health & safety, dementia awareness, finance, social media, insurance etc. If you, or your colleagues, have any particular needs or think that other member halls could also benefit from a specific course, please let us know. See Contacts page for email addresses.

Northumberland Communities Together is offering a clutch of free e-learning – including:  Safeguarding Children, Safeguarding Adults, Early Help for Children and Families, Parental Conflict and its Impact on Children, Links to external courses on ACEs and Prevent, Equality and Diversity, Stress Awareness, Health and Safety, and Drug and Alcohol Awareness.  They are currently (May 2021) developing a level 1 Dementia Awareness module (it is at the quality assurance stage) which we will be adding to this offer when it is finalised.

An instruction sheet is available explaining how halls can set up a Learning Together account under the banner of Northumberland Communities Together to access this on-line learning.
